Pricing & Payments
How is your pricing structured?
We use transparent, tiered pricing based on complexity. Personal returns start at $225 (Essentials tier). Additional schedules like Schedule C (self-employment) or Schedule E (rentals) have flat add-on fees. You'll know your price before we begin—no surprises.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We believe in transparent pricing. Your quote includes everything—preparation, e-filing, and all included services for your tier. We'll discuss any additional fees upfront before proceeding.
When is payment due?
Payment is due when your return is ready to file. We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. For refund clients, we also offer the option to have fees deducted from your refund.
Can I pay from my refund?
Yes, if you're receiving a refund, you can choose to have our fees deducted directly from it. There's a small bank processing fee for this service, but it means no out-of-pocket cost at the time of filing.

Filing & Refunds

Do you e-file all returns?
Yes, we e-file federal and state returns for faster processing and quicker refunds. E-filing is included in all our service tiers at no additional cost.
What if I owe taxes? Can you help me pay?
If you owe taxes, we'll explain your payment options. You can pay directly to the IRS, set up a payment plan, or in some cases, have the amount automatically debited on a date you choose. We'll guide you through the process.
Can you file prior year returns?
Yes, we can prepare returns for previous tax years. Whether you missed a filing or need to amend a prior return, we're here to help get you current with the IRS and state tax authorities.
Security & Privacy
How do you protect my personal information?
We use bank-level encryption for all data transmission and storage. Our client portal is secured with SSL/TLS encryption, and we follow IRS security requirements for tax professionals. Your data is never shared with third parties.
Is the online portal secure?
Yes, our client portal uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols. It's the same technology used by major financial institutions. You can safely upload sensitive documents like W-2s, 1099s, and bank statements.
How long do you keep my records?
We retain tax returns and supporting documents for 7 years, which aligns with IRS audit timeframes. You can request copies of your previous returns at any time. After 7 years, records are securely destroyed.
What is an Enrolled Agent (EA)?
An Enrolled Agent is a federally-licensed tax practitioner who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the IRS. EAs must pass a rigorous exam and complete continuing education annually. It's the highest credential the IRS awards.
